IT'S ALL OVER

On August 22, 2009, the Washington State Fire Training Academy hosted 325 attendees at the 2009 NW Citizen Corps Expo.  CERT, MRC and ham radio volunteers from across the state were checked into staging using a credentialing tool, increased preparedness for the psychological aspects of a disaster through a Critical Incident Stress Management overview, processed through a genuine disaster feeding station, and practiced their disaster medical skills and team coordination in an exercise scenario.
